10 as a vampire, he’s a young one.

Race:
Vampire, once human, bitten at the age of 18 by a vampire from the Clan Nobilis.

Appearance:
Tall and slim, 6’2’’, light purple eyes that turn into bright red when he’s under bloodlust, long wavy blond hair, usually tied back on a ponytail revealing his pointy ears; he hasa silver earring on the right one.

Angelic face with calm eyes, pale skin and sharp fangs, since he was bitten at an early age his features remained soft and young.

He loves to wear elegant Victorian clothes, perfectly clean and without any wrinkle.

Personality:
Viktor is a charming prince in disguise... he is really vain, self-centred and selfish. All he cares is about beauty and get things his own way, he never does anything that won’t benefice him afterwards.

He considers himself better than the rest of the morals, even better than the rest of vampires, since his clan, the Nobilis, are considered the celebrities and nobility of the vampires, so he acts in consequence, considering anyone under himself.

He tends to respect his equals inside the clan, same a his own minions, though he tends to be a bit insolent when it comes to vampires older than him.

Calm-tempered vampire, he’s good at hiding his feelings, his face never shows annoyance of pain.

Art lover and one of those old romantic types, though he has his own idea of romanticism, which usually consists on seducing young virgin girls to get what he considers is the sweetest blood...

History:
Viktor Lacatus was born in Wallachia, December the 13rd of 1809.

Since he was born, he was taught to under the Victorian manners, be polite and quiet, never break the rules and make his family proud, which was really tiring for a kid, the only moment of peace and actual happiness were the moments he spent with his best friend, Damien, the son of their neighbours.

They were always together, sharing his favourite hobby, which was reading stories about knights.. princesses and magicians... and always had fun playing pretending to be the protagonist of those stories.

Everything seemed to go smoothly on his life, until things started to change… The kids were on their 12 when one of the days they met for their usual activities, Viktor brought a book that Damien had never seen before, a dark book whose only vision sent shivers down the boy’s spine… “vampyr bible” was the title of it… Damien tried to ignore it, he wasn’t attracted to monster stories, unlike Viktor, who loved them… he started dreaming about those creatures of the night, believing they were real…

His curiosity for those creatures grew along with him for years, though he kept his own little investigations on secret since this kind of thing was forbidden on his family, he wouldn’t want his parents to believe he was being absorved by any dark sect and forbid him read those books...

Viktor used to escape every night through the window of his room to have a little night walk through the forest... hoping he’d be lucky enought to find a vampire... though what he didn’t know was that not all vampires were the same as the ones on his books...

The night after his 18th birthday, the sound of screams downstairs woke him up... two vampires, a man and a woman, was attacking his family, it was then when he came to know that his parents were ex vampire hunters, and they killed the son of this vampire couple. They wanted revenge, so they went to the vampire hunters house and killed them, planning to take his son and convert him into one of them... Viktor.

Being embraced by this new family, he had to leave the world he knew behind... though unlike one would think, it wasn’t too difficult for him because a dream became true... he was one of those criatures he had been admiring for years...

He was taught by his new adoptive parents all he needed to know about vampires and the clans, but mostly about his own clan, the Nobilis, considered the royalty of the vampires and the second ones on the scale of power, since the only vampires above them were the most ancient ones that they weren’t even sure if they still existed... the Elementum.

He learnt how to control his new habilites and powers, even learning how to manipulate some elemental powers, such as the fire.

Being a new vampire child, he grew up being spoiled, getting everything he wanted and spending his time having fun on his own way, which was mainly seducing young girls to drink their bloods.

He tends to spend his time on his own little castle through the woods of Wallachia, trying to avoid any unnecessary contact with what he considers lower forms of vampires and trying to create his own new family of chosen ones... spending the eternity without anyone is really lonely... and boring.
